Q Posket is a chibi figurine line made by Banpresto. The most distinct feature on this series is the eyes of the figurine, you'll notice the large beady-like design gives it a very expressive look. Along with that, the Q Posket line has incredibly accurate character detail, striking poses and vivid color schemes. The figurines are made from ABS and PVC plastic and may also feature variants or different versions with different color schemes of the same figure design.
Q Posket is a small chibi style figurine made by Banpresto. It is pronounced (Q - pos - kit) They were all the rage in Japan and China for years and have now have finally come to US Shores. The standard product line features a 4-6 inch figure made in either the A or B version of the character (many people collect both version) but one version will have a more vibrant paint job while the other version is done in subdued tone. The "petite" Q Poskets are a little smaller from 3-4 inches. They make excellent display pieces while also being produced at an affordable price. They are typically made in PVC and have a base plate for standing or posing of the figurine. The US versions of the line feature Disney Princesses, Anime Heros, and Harry Potter lines. The figures look quite cute with large eyes and elegant design. The Box art sets them apart from any other vinyl in figurine in this price range.
Yes. The Q Poskets are authorized for US distribution meaning they have been licensed in the US and the box safety features as well as description are written in English as opposed to Japanese or Mandarin.
We do carry both and sometimes it can be hard to tell them apart (also we are aware some of our competitors who have no idea what this is post them with incorrect information) , on the product description you will see either the "A or B" version label "1 or 2" version label or "Dark and Light" depending on the product buying guide (we wish they would clean that up as well). The Dark, A, and 1 Versions are synonymous - bright vibrant colors. While the B, 2 and Light version are more subdued in appearance and don't take over the whole display line. Collectors can and do buy both.
We do post "in-bound" stock once we've identified the item is accurate. We typically do not post future pre-orders on the Q Posket line at this time because the licensing in the US is subject to the holder of that licenses approval and we don't want to post an image "subject to change". The US market has different sensitivity to how certain figures are drawn and created that may or may not apply to Japan and the products are intended for sale here rather than overseas. We will say, in general, the US version is more "family friendly" on certain characters than the overseas versions of the lines.
Absolutely! Keep in mind the recommended age of the product in the US is 15 and up, that said, as long as the child is past the age of putting pieces in their mouth to "taste test" the figurines are of course safe. If you love Disney Princesses or know someone who does this line is for you. These are good for both "in box" collectors and those who wish to display it in their bedroom, office, or home office.
