Is Miss Mindy real or is that just a Brand Name?
We assure you Miss Mindy from "The World of Miss Mindy" is a real person and artist, we have met here multiple times at NY Toy Fair. Her hair and attire are also "Disney stylized" so you get a real sense that the collectible art she produces is really an extension of how she wishes to see the world. Her art style is described as Pop or Deco but if you have a wider appreciation of art you might describe her work as cubism with strong dimensional lines combining multiple subjects into one canvas albeit for the collectible market each figure is finely crafted and distinguishable.
What types of Products come from the World of Miss Mindy?
Miss Mindy works in Disney themed items with a special emphasis on Disney Princess and Villains though she has a soft spot in her heart apparently for the animals which provide supporting cast to Disney collections. Yes! Starting with the next release of Miss Mindy's figures we should see the size change from 7-Inch to 5-Inch. That's better for us and better for customers. The 7 Inch line when properly packaged weighs more than 1 Lbs per item to ship so it has to be Priority Mail for USPS which can sometimes be as much as $15 even for domestic mail; the new line will come in properly packaged under 1LB leaving plenty of shipping savings to pass onto customers.
