In all likelihood No. While the product is still safe for all children 3 and up (as are almost all Hot Wheels) Unless your child is particularly drawn to classic cars or the specific motif of a particular release there are both more economical options and options likely to garner more interest from them. If you are buying for someone under 10 years my first recommendation would be Hot Wheels Character Cars to be sure, these are still collected by adults but they are designed specifically to appeal to a younger audience who want movie scenes. Likewise Hot Wheels Starships also appeal based on popular movie scenes from Star Wars , Star Treks and other space adventure series. The would also likely be drawn to age appropriate Hot Wheels Replica Entertainment series.
This is a collector guide tool, 956 is the current sequence number from Mattel for the Hot Wheels Car Culture releases. The "X" digit Q , J or whatever indicates the release wave around a specific theme such as street racers, all-terrain, desert rally, or other themed metal.
Yes. We generally assume if you are buying Car Culture series that you are a collector , call it our default condition. We use a wide variety of bubble wrap , craft paper, and re-enforced heavily rated shipping boxes to preserve card back crispness and the the condition of the blister. If for some reason your Car Culture product is damaged please contact us and we will see how we can make it right. If you can include pictures along with your order number and description that would be helpful. This is a mass produced item so paint quality isn't something we can accept responsibility for unless its really bad like flaking paint or blister crispness (IE one side of the blister seal is slightly heavier than the other). However we expect these to be collected and treat them as such.
No and please don't do this - we want to make you happy but its very unfair to us. We are aware those two sources will charge you less, there is a reason for this, they don't take the time and put in the packing materials that we do on this series. The reason it costs a dollar or two more here is because we are giving you what you desire: good condition and that does cost money. A few times a year we will have someone try to buy here and then "exchange us" with something they bought from one of the big box online stores that came in in poor condition. Hot Wheels don't have VIN numbers like real cars but they do have very specific lot numbers ie ..we will probably know if its not ours.
