My friends and some of our loyal Keenga Toys customers are always asking me :What should I get for my nephew he’s 3 – or what should I get for my neighbor’s kids their 6. I usually start back with “well what series are they into?” Usually they have no idea and I have to pick something neutral.

Sometimes though, even for your own kids, for us “grown ups” to distinguish between “What’s a toy” and “What’s a collectible”. To make it more complicated in the toy industry we do a good job of publishing what ages are safe for an item to be played with but not necessarily what ages are the best fit for a particularly toy. So with that in mind I wanted to offer up a list, as a permanent section, here at Keenga for those of you who, like my friends, might need a little nudge in the right direction. A couple of my criteria:

• Reasonably Priced : Under $25.
• Primarily a Toy rather than a collectible (though some people do love to collect many things)
